Salesforce Specialist

 
 

Job Description:

  • Support the configuration of the Salesforce environment according to specifications and project scope

  • Implement agreed solutions and conduct technical demonstrations as required

  • Conduct discovery meetings to determine requirements as appropriate

  • Spearhead change-management activities

  • Prepare documentation and progress reports as needed

  • Develop training materials for users and other consultants

  • Provide weekly governance reports in a timely manner on overall project(s) status

  • Participate in weekly and monthly internal meetings as required

Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Salesforce Administrator Certification required

  • (Other certifications and a high level of Trailhead engagement a plus)

  • 2+ years experience as a Salesforce administrator

  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Presentations and other online collaboration tools like Jira, Trello and Slack

  • Experience working in Higher Education or Finance & Lending preferred

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work as well as work independently

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
